Shane Carwin retires
MMA fighter Shane Carwin officially retires.
Carwin was 12-2 in his MMA career, and started off his career with 12 wins, all in the first round. He won the UFC interim title in 2010 after defeating Frank Mir by KO at UFC 111. Carwin was last expected to fight Roy Nelson in November 2012 but pulled out after suffering a knee injury.
